Bayern dominates Augsburg under Wagner's leadership: Bayern Munich victorious against Augsburg

In a thrilling encounter at the Allianz Arena, Bayern Munich emerged victorious against Augsburg with a final score of 3-2. The game was dominated by the hosts, who led 3-0 at half-time.

The opening goal for Bayern came in the 28th minute, courtesy of Serge Gnabry. Just before the break, Luis Díaz scored a brace, making it 3-0 in favour of Bayern. The second half started with a goal from Michael Olise, extending Bayern's lead to 4-0.

Augsburg, under the guidance of new coach Wagner, showed resilience and fought back. Mert Kömür scored in the 76th minute, followed by a goal from Koo in the 80th minute, making it a tense 4-2. However, despite their efforts, Augsburg were unable to secure an equalizer.

The game took an unfortunate turn when Bayern's Robin Fellhauer collided with Augsburg's Sacha Boey, resulting in Fellhauer needing treatment on the pitch. He was eventually carried off on a stretcher. Boey received a yellow card for the incident.

Chelsea prevented the transfer of Nicolas Jackson from FC Chelsea to FC Bayern München at the last moment due to injuries in their squad, specifically the injury of Liam Delap. This left Chelsea unable to proceed with the loan deal just before the medical check was to be completed.

Harry Kane, who scored his first goal of the season for Bayern Munich, provided the cross for the left-flank goal that sealed Bayern's victory. Augsburg's Marius Wolf came close to scoring in the 4th minute, hitting the outside of the net.

Augsburg goalkeeper Finn Dahmen reported that Fellhauer is doing well given the circumstances. Bayern Munich's coach, Vincent Kompany, will be relieved to have secured the win, despite the close finish.

With more potential movement in the Bayern squad before the transfer window closes on Monday, fans will be eager to see what changes may be on the horizon.
