In the Rhein-Kreis Neuss, a series of unsuccessful burglaries have been reported, with the Criminal Commission 14 (Kriminalkommissariat 14) of the Rhein-Kreis Neuss Police Department leading the investigation.

The latest incident occurred on Oststraße in Büderich between 11:30 and 21:00, where suspects attempted to open an apartment door without success. Upon arrival, officers found significant damage to the rear terrace door and potential burglary tools in the vicinity. However, the method of entry remains unknown.

Witnesses reported suspicious noises around 03:50 on August 1st and alerted the police in the Büderich district of Meerbusch. In this case, suspected burglars gained access to an elevated terrace of a multi-family home on Grünstraße between Saturday, 22:30 and Sunday, 08:30. Despite the forced entry, the intruders did not gain access to the interior of the building.

Another failed burglary attempt was reported on Plankstraße in Neusser Furth between August 2nd, 14:00 and August 3rd, 00:45. A similar incident occurred in Dormagen, at the street 'Unter den Hecken', between Saturday, 20:00 and Sunday, 11:30.
