Banned from Las Vegas casinos, ex-felon Bobby Khan cries political censorship in GOP race

Bobby Khan, a former supercar dealer and convicted felon, has been banned from all MGM Resorts International properties in Las Vegas. The move comes as Khan campaigns for the 2026 Republican Congressional primary, where he faces State Senator Carrie Buck in a race with a stark funding gap—Khan has raised just £31,000 compared to Buck's £400,000.

Khan, who once appeared on the FBI's 'Most Wanted' list, served eight months in federal prison for wire fraud in 2020. Despite his criminal record, he is now seeking a seat in Congress and has accused MGM of attempting to silence his criticism. In recent months, he frequently posted videos from inside MGM venues, attacking the company for 'price-gouging, poor service, and unethical practices'.

MGM has not provided any public explanation for the ban, and no official statement appears in public records. The company has, however, warned Khan that he could face arrest and prosecution for trespassing if he enters their properties. This includes major Las Vegas locations such as the Bellagio, Aria, Cosmopolitan, MGM Grand, and Mandalay Bay, as well as venues in other states.

In response, Khan has urged Nevada Governor Joe Lombardo and Congresswoman Dina Titus to condemn MGM's actions. He has also directed supporters to his campaign website, framing the ban as an attempt to stifle his political ambitions.

The ban prevents Khan from accessing MGM's casinos, hotels, and entertainment venues across multiple states. His campaign continues, though he trails significantly in fundraising against his opponent. MGM has yet to clarify the legal or contractual basis for its decision.
