Baltic Sea energy stability and unity: renewed push for offshore wind energy initiatives
The Baltic Offshore Wind Forum, a high-level event, is set to take place in the coming months. This forum, organised jointly by the Federal Foreign Office, the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the German Energy Agency (dena), will be hosted by Annalena Baerbock, Federal Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Germany, and Lars LΓΈkke Rasmussen, Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Denmark.
The forum will be held during Germany's CBSS presidency and will focus on "Energy Security in the Context of Europe's Changing Geopolitical Landscape." The event aims to bring together key stakeholders from the public, private sectors, and civil society to discuss the development of offshore wind energy and foster regional cooperation in the Baltic Sea region.
The forum will be accessible both in person and digitally via Zoom, facilitated by the German Energy Agency (dena).
