Pro DV, an IT service provider based in Dortmund, has taken over the operational business of Netfox effective September 1, 2025. The acquisition comes after Netfox, a system house based in Kleinmachnow, entered insolvency proceedings in February 2025.
The acquisition was made through an asset deal within a transferring insolvency from the Netfox insolvency estate. The transaction includes customer contracts, technical infrastructure, employees, and a branch in the Berlin area.
Markus Böttcher, the former board member of Netfox AG, remains in the company following the takeover by Pro DV. He has been appointed as an additional member of the Pro DV AG board, a move that he believes is a growth-oriented one.
"I am confident that Pro DV AG is a reliable partner that shares Netfox's values and will continue the joint business operations in a growth-oriented manner," said Böttcher. He also expressed relief that his employees have a new professional perspective with Pro DV AG.
The acquisition is expected to be beneficial for both parties. Pro DV AG shares Netfox's values and aims to expand its market position in security-critical IT infrastructures. They intend to utilize qualified specialists and the existing Netfox customer relationships.
Gregor Steverding, board member of Pro DV, confirmed that the acquisition strengthens their expertise in IT security and infrastructure consulting. He believes that the integration of the acquired business operations opens up new potential for Pro DV in a strategically important market segment.
The acquisition allows customers to continue being served. Böttcher is optimistic that customers can continue to be served with Pro DV AG. He believes that the acquisition of Netfox's operational business is a step forward in providing a new professional perspective for Netfox's employees and expanding Pro DV's market position.
