In recent days, there have been reports of burglaries in the cities of Dorsten and Bottrop. According to the Police Headquarters in Recklinghausen, transmitted via news aktuell, the crimes occurred over the Pentecost weekend.

In Dorsten, burglars forced open a terrace door at a school on Bismarckstraße between Saturday afternoon and early Sunday morning. At first glance, nothing was stolen from the school. However, in Bottrop, the burglars ransacked cabinets and made off with various pieces of jewelry.

Unknown perpetrators also broke into a company at Am Wiesenbusch over the weekend. After forcing open a door to a production hall, they made off with high-quality tools. The identities of these individuals are currently unknown.

In a separate incident, burglars forced open the access gate and gained entry to the premises of a semi-detached house on Theo-Kleppe-Weg in Bottrop over the weekend. The original content for this report comes from the Police Headquarters Recklinghausen.

No further changes in the school building have been detected in Dorsten so far. The police are urging anyone who may have observed anything suspicious or can provide information about suspects to contact the Kripo under Tel. 0800/2361 111.

The police are also investigating an incident where unknown perpetrators threw a window (with a cobblestone) to gain access to the teachers' library in Dorsten. According to current findings, this incident occurred between Friday afternoon (06.06., 16.30 Uhr) and Tuesday morning (10.06., 5.40 Uhr).
