Authorities Seek Out Individuals with Information

A woman from Bad Segeberg fell at the dog beach in Priwall, Travemünde, on September 3, 2025, after a dog jumped on her at chest height. The dog that caused the incident remains unidentified.

The incident occurred around 12:15 PM on Wednesday. An unknown bystander provided immediate care for the injured woman, while an employee of the water rescue service alerted the emergency services.

The woman sustained a comminuted fracture of her right forearm in the fall. The police in Lübeck are currently investigating the incident on suspicion of negligent bodily harm.

The dog that caused the incident is described as medium-sized with brown, curly fur. Witnesses who observed the incident and may have information about the dog owner are being sought.
