Authorities seek out bystanders with information
On the night of August 27, 2025, a dramatic incident unfolded in the quiet town of Bad Schwartau, Germany. The Criminal Police initiated investigations after suspecting an attempted aggravated theft at a goldsmith's shop located on Lübeck Street.
Three unknown men, described as being muscular, taller than 185cm, and dressed in black, were seen attempting to break into the shop. They were noticed by a witness due to loud noises. The men were carrying large red bags during the incident.
Despite their efforts, the suspects did not gain entry to the business itself. Upon the arrival of the police, the suspects fled in a presumably dark small car with stolen license plates. The three fugitives were last seen fleeing via August Street, Eutiner Ring, and towards Lübeck.
Investigators found several break-in traces, secured evidence, and seized tools used in the crime. The suspects spoke German with an unidentified accent during the incident.
