Authorities seek individuals who may have observed crucial events. Witnesses are being actively pursued by law enforcement.
In an unfortunate incident, an 18-year-old driver from Ahlerstedt was seriously injured in a car accident on Kreisstraße 48 in Brest, Rehfinger Straße, around 7:10 PM on Sunday.
The driver was behind the wheel of an Audi A3, which veered off the road and crashed into a tree after the driver lost control. The impact was severe, resulting in the complete destruction of the car. Estimates suggest that the damage to the vehicle amounts to around 20,000 euros.
Approximately 30 firefighters from Brest and Bargstedt were promptly called to the scene to extricate the driver from the wreckage. After a successful rescue operation, the driver was transported to a hospital in Hamburg for further treatment. The emergency doctor, rescue helicopter crew, and a rescue vehicle from the Alten Land all played crucial roles in the initial treatment and transportation of the injured individual.
Meanwhile, in a separate incident, unknown perpetrators broke into the storage room and a refrigerated trailer of a snack bar at an outdoor pool in Hollern-Twielenfleth between Sunday evening and Tuesday midday. Various bottles of alcohol, cola, and sweets were stolen, resulting in estimated damage of around 750 euros.
In a third incident, an 83-year-old senior was attacked near the station in Stade between 10:00 and 11:00 AM on Saturday morning. However, no publicly available information about the name of the perpetrator has been released yet.
The K 48 had to be temporarily closed for rescue and recovery operations and the investigation of the accident. The authorities are currently working to gather more details about the incidents and to apprehend the perpetrators.
