Authorities in Hagen introduce 27 new law enforcement personnel and two government monitors
New Police Officers and Inspectors Begin Service in Hagen
On Monday, September 1, 2025, a total of 29 new recruits joined the Hagen Police force. This includes 27 police officers and two government inspectors, who began their service in the administrative area of the Hagen police.
The new police officers, freshly trained commissioners, were officially welcomed by Police President Ursula Tomahogh and the extended management team. Eighteen of the new officers are fresh recruits, while nine have previous experience with other agencies.
The formal act of swearing-in for the new police officers was initiated by Police Director Ursula Schönberg. The new officers received their first badge on their first day of duty and raised their right hand to take their oath before engaging in direct exchange with their new directorate, watch, and precinct leadership.
The new police officers and inspectors are now on duty in Hagen, serving in the city on the Volme. The Hagen Police Presidency is where the new employees are serving.
The first names of the two newly added government inspectors in Hagen Police are Max and Lisa. The Hagen Police is pleased with the new additions and wishes them success in their responsible task in and for Hagen.
