In the early hours of this morning, an assault took place in Greifswald's Ernst-Thälmann-Ring. At approximately 00:50, a 45-year-old German man was riding his bicycle when he was approached by an unidentified male at house number 40A. The unknown individual struck the victim in the face, causing him minor injuries.

Following the incident, the suspect fled in the direction of Makarenkostrasse. The police are now investigating the suspicion of assault and are seeking witnesses who may have observed something in the vicinity of the crime. Witnesses are asked to provide any information they may have about the possible suspect.
