Authorities are seeking individuals who may have observed recent events.
In the small town of Bünde, a disturbing incident took place late on the night of June 15th. A 32-year-old resident from Herford, standing approximately 180cm tall, found himself in a harrowing situation at the local train station.
The resident had intended to take a taxi home but encountered a disagreement with the taxi driver regarding the fare. Despite this, the taxi driver, believed to be around 35 years old, proceeded with the journey, his vehicle bearing a Herford license plate.
As the taxi was leaving the parking spot, it tragically ran over the resident's foot. The resident was immediately hospitalized due to the injuries sustained in the incident.
The Herford police department is currently investigating the incident, and the taxi driver involved has yet to come forward. The traffic commission of the Herford police department is also appealing for any witnesses who may have information about the incident to step forward.
