Authorities are searching for cyclists who have fled from the scene

In the heart of Dinslaken, a cyclist collided with a 72-year-old pedestrian named Dinslakener on a foot and hiking path parallel to Rabenkamp street. The incident occurred at approximately 4 p.m. on Saturday.

According to witnesses, the cyclist was riding a trekking bike and was moving at a fast speed. The cyclist brushed the 72-year-old with the handlebars during the collision, resulting in slight injuries for the elderly pedestrian.

The cyclist, described as a man aged 45 to 50, slim, and between 1.85 to 1.90 meters tall, fled the scene immediately after the collision. The direction of travel before the incident was towards Karl-Heinz-Klingen-Straße.

The 72-year-old was walking with his dog and an acquaintance, also with a dog, towards Karl-Heinz-Klingen-Straße at the time of the collision. The location of the collision was the foot and hiking path parallel to Rabenkamp street.
