Audi's RS3 model undergoes a refresh for 2024, carries a starting price of £59,510.
Audi Unveils New RS3: Set to Break Records and Arrive Next Month
Audi has revealed the highly anticipated new RS3, set to make its debut in August and go on sale next month (September 2024). The new model will be available in three trim options: entry-level, Carbon Black, and Carbo Vorsprung.
The new RS3 continues with the same 2.5-litre engine, producing 395bhp, a significant increase from the 2009 model that offered 335bhp. This powerhouse engine will allow the new RS3 to set a class Nurburgring record.
The entry-level RS3 Sportback is priced at £59,510, the RS3 Sportback Carbon Black Sportback is available for £64,160, and the RS3 Sportback Carbon Vorsprung can be purchased for £68,650. Opting for the RS3 Saloon adds an additional £1k to the price.
The exterior of the new RS3 boasts a larger single-frame grille, added vent real estate, new rear diffuser, new exhaust tips, and new wheel designs. Inside, the RS3 offers optional carbon-backed seats, a new Alcantara-clad squared-off steering wheel, and Planer Lighting backlights.
Audi has also improved its 'Torque Splitter' technology for enhanced cornering speeds. This technology allows up to 100% of rear torque to be sent to the outside wheel, providing exceptional handling and agility.
The new RS3 was first pictured ahead of its debut in August, and it will be available for sale next month (September 2024). However, specific models or prices for the Audi RS3 Sportback and Saloon are not yet available for September 2024, as the search results primarily cover other Audi models and future releases.
The 2017 Audi RS3 Sportback was previously revealed ahead of its Geneva Motor Show debut in March. The new RS3 is expected to follow in the footsteps of its successful predecessor, offering a blend of power, style, and technology that sets it apart in the compact performance car segment.
