Audi is unleashing the controls on the latest Q3 model

Audi has unveiled its latest compact offering, the Q3 Sportback, which boasts a range of advanced features designed to enhance safety, efficiency, and user experience.

The new Q3 Sportback offers both gasoline and diesel engine options, as well as an optional quattro all-wheel drive system. The vehicle's lighting system, a departure from traditional headlight technologies, combines Matrix-LED and OLED technology, providing a distinctive look and an adaptive light image that changes according to the driving situation.

At the front, the Matrix-LED headlights project lane markings and visually warn of impending lane departure or danger in the blind spot. This advanced feature not only improves safety but also offers added value to drivers. During night-time driving, the lighting system is designed to improve visibility and safety, making the Q3 Sportback a reliable companion on the road.

In the cabin, Audi has implemented a concept from the luxury class for the first time in a compact model. The new operating system reduces driver distraction as hands remain on the steering wheel. The traditional steering column stalks have been replaced with stationary control buttons located in the center of the steering wheel. This innovative switchgear concept modernizes the cockpit and enhances user interaction with driving controls.

The interior of the new Q3 Sportback remains at a family level, offering sufficient head and legroom in the rear and high-quality materials for a premium feel. The flatter roofline of the Sportback slightly reduces boot space compared to the standard Q3, with a decrease of about 100 liters in loading volume.

The Q3 Sportback comes with a dual-clutch transmission as standard and features a plug-in hybrid option with up to 272 PS and an electric range of up to 118 kilometers according to WLTP. When an approaching vehicle is detected, the lighting field at the rear of the Q3 Sportback adjusts dynamically.
