Atlantic City's Ocean Casino Resort debuts high-tech mini golf with holograms

Ocean Casino Resort in Atlantic City has unveiled a new family-friendly attraction. The venue, called Ocean's 18, is an 18-hole miniature golf course that opened on Saturday. Part of a $50 million resort upgrade, it features high-tech entertainment and special promotions for visitors.

The 8,000-square-foot mini golf course sits on the Casino Level, next to LaScala's Fire. Spread across two floors, it includes an immersive $500,000 hologram experience with Ava the Avatar and a 12-foot great white shark projection.

To mark the launch, Ocean Casino Resort hosted a ceremony with actor Christopher McDonald and *Jersey Shore* stars Sammi Sweetheart Giancola and Jenni 'JWoww' Farley. The opening also introduced stay-and-play packages, teaming up with nearby golf courses to offer bundled deals. Atlantic City already boasts several public golf options, such as Seaview, Ballamor Golf Club, and Brigantine Golf Links. Other courses, like Atlantic City Country Club and Twisted Dune Golf Club, have similar partnerships with local hotels. These include discounted greens fees and lodging bundles through Bally's, Caesars, Golden Nugget, and Resorts Casino as part of 2026 promotions. *Ocean's 18* welcomes players of all ages but closes at 9 pm each evening.

The new mini golf venue adds to Atlantic City's entertainment choices. With its holographic features and resort partnerships, it aims to attract both families and golf enthusiasts. The $50 million upgrade reflects Ocean Casino Resort's push to expand beyond traditional gaming.
