At IBC 2025, MRMC set to exhibit their latest robotics innovations
Mark Roberts Motion Control Unveils New Products at IBC 2025
In an exciting development for the film and broadcast industries, Mark Roberts Motion Control (MRMC) has announced that it will be showcasing two new products at the IBC Show 2025 in Amsterdam. The event, taking place in RAI Amsterdam in 2025, will mark a significant milestone for MRMC, as they unveil the Cinebot Nano and the RPS-LT (Roaming Pedestal System with robotic arm).
The Cinebot Nano, a compact nine-axis motion control robot, will make its debut at IBC 2025. Designed for solo filmmakers and content creators, the Cinebot Nano boasts a 7kg camera payload, a one-meter reach, and speeds up to one meter per second. The Cinebot Nano runs on MRMC's simplified Flair Lite software, providing an intuitive interface without compromising on creative precision.
In a dedicated MRMC Broadcast area, attendees will have the opportunity to interact with the Cinebots, shooting objects on the stand. Alongside the Cinebot Nano, the Cinebot Mini and Cinebot Max will also be showcased.
The RPS-LT, designed for high-end broadcast studios, brings MRMC's core technology of robotic camera arm platforms to a roaming pedestal. Built for smooth, class-leading motion, the RPS-LT enables broadcasters to capture dynamic camera angles with ease and complete creative freedom. The RPS-LT features an integrated LIDAR system provided by SICK, which ensures ultimate precision for positioning and safety.
One of the highlights of the demonstration will be the RLS (Rail Lift System) with the AFC (Agile, Fast and Compact) robotic head mounted with a RED V-Raptor (X) camera using Phantom Track Recording Mode. The RLS demonstration will showcase how track-based robotics can seamlessly integrate into dynamic virtual production workflows, powered by Disguise.
The immersive environment will feature dynamic backdrops that transition from day to night, showcasing the true power and flexibility of the integrated solutions. RED Komodo cameras will be mounted on the Cinebots for demonstration at IBC 2025.
Assaff Rawner, CEO of MRMC, expressed his excitement about IBC 2025, stating, "This event marks a significant milestone with the showcase of the Cinebot Nano and RPS-LT." MRMC will exhibit alongside Nikon and RED Digital Cinema in Hall 11 (11.C20).
In addition to MRMC, other notable companies such as ARRI, Tiffen, Panavision, and Digital Sputnik will also be present at the IBC Show 2025. The new RPS-LT is a next-generation free-roaming camera robotic system mounted with the compact Studiobot LT 6-axes arm. The new Cinebot Nano, with its built-in collision avoidance and intelligent choreography, ensures multiple units can operate safely within a studio with seamless movement.
The Cinebot Nano packs neatly into three cases, remaining under air travel limits, making it an ideal solution for filmmakers and content creators on the go. With these new products, MRMC continues to demonstrate its commitment to evolving technologies to meet the needs of customers across the film and broadcast industries.
