Aschaffenburg's New Initiative Welcomes Parents with Free Toddler-Friendly Services
A new initiative in Aschaffenburg is making life easier for parents and caregivers with young children. Since September 2025, 90 locations across the district and city have signed up to the 'Welcome with Toddlers' scheme. The project aims to create a more family-friendly environment by offering essential services for free. The scheme allows parents to breastfeed, bottle-feed, change nappies, or use restrooms without needing to buy anything. Participating venues display a 15-centimetre square sticker showing the services they provide. These include seating for feeding, diaper-changing facilities, or access to a free toilet.
Businesses and institutions can join by registering online and receiving a free sticker. To qualify, they must meet at least one of the initiative's requirements. The services are available during regular opening hours at no cost. The project is backed by *Gesundheitsregion Aschaffenburg*, the district's Equal Opportunities Office, and the Preventive Youth Welfare Department at the *Landratsamt*. A full list of participating locations is available on the official website, along with further details about the initiative.
The 'Welcome with Toddlers' initiative now covers 90 venues in Aschaffenburg. It provides practical support for families while encouraging local businesses to become more inclusive. More information and the list of participating locations can be found online.
