Rapper Disarstar Distances Himself from the Left Party

Gerrit Falius, better known by his stage name Disarstar, released his new album "Hamburger Aufstand" on Friday. The rapper has made a name for himself with his politically charged lyrics and commitment to social justice. However, when it comes to political affiliations, Disarstar maintains a distance from the Left Party.

Despite following many left-wing politicians on Instagram, Disarstar does not follow the political group "Die Linke." Heidi Reichinnek, the Left Party faction leader, is the exception to Disarstar's Instagram following list. If Reichinnek were to follow him, Disarstar would return the favour within 30 seconds.

Disarstar identifies as a "Marxist" and is politically aware, but he finds it unserious to let himself be harnessed to a party political wagon. He questions why he does not engage with the Left Party, expressing concerns about the voting results of the party, particularly on the wealth tax.

One of Disarstar's most successful songs is "Siamo Tutti," often described as an antifascist anthem. The track has been streamed over 6.7 million times on Spotify. Disarstar wishes for democratic socialism, not social democratic capitalism, and finds the practice of the Left Party unconvincing.

However, Disarstar does not dismiss the Left Party altogether. He acknowledges that they have great Instagram tiles and good takes. "Siamo Tutti" encapsulates Disarstar's political beliefs, and its success demonstrates the rapper's influence in the political sphere.

Disarstar's new album "Hamburger Aufstand" is available now. With its raw lyrics and powerful beats, the album continues Disarstar's mission to challenge the status quo and inspire change.
