Artificial Intelligence Stage Event - Collaborative Performance by VHS Arnsberg/Sundern's Sustainable Development Unit and City Laboratory Focusing on Human Programs

Registration for the event "The Human Program" is now open on the VHS Arnsberg/Sundern website (www.vhs-arnsberg-sundern.de). The event, scheduled for Friday, September 19, 2025, at 6:30 PM at Kultur Schmiede Arnsberg, promises to be an engaging exploration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its impact on our lives.

The show, presented by Frank and Christine Astor, combines expertise, entertainment, and humour to make the topic of AI more tangible and stimulate societal discussion. Frank Astor, a renowned cabaret artist, author, and futurist, processes fears and dystopias about AI with a touch of humor and an optimistic approach. Christine Astor, joining her husband in the show, guides the audience through a mix of knowledge transfer and cabaret into the world of superintelligence.

The event is part of a broader discussion about the role and impact of AI in society. Concerns about AI include questions about decision-making, objectivity, and its impact on coexistence. Dr. Tobias Schulte, director of VHS Arnsberg/Sundern, stated that these concerns are already influencing their program offer in various ways. Sebastian Witte, head of the department for sustainable development, emphasizes the integration of AI in modern city administration, and the need for discussion to ensure broad acceptance.

After the show, both Frank and Christine Astor will moderate an open discussion about AI. The event is organized by VHS Arnsberg/Sundern, the department for sustainable development of the city of Arnsberg, and the city lab freeRAUM. AI is already integrated into daily life, consciously or unconsciously, and is expected to shape the future development of society significantly. Join the conversation and shape the future of AI in our society. Register now for "The Human Program"!
