Artificial Intelligence (AI) is now being utilized by Geotab to deliver safety-focused predictions aimed at minimizing road accidents involving vehicles.

Geotab, a leading telematics and connected fleet solutions provider, is set to unveil its latest predictive safety capabilities at the Fleet LatAm Conference 2023. Mike Branch, the Vice President of Data and Analytics at Geotab, will be the keynote speaker at the event, scheduled to take place from September 25-26.

Branch will deliver a Thought Leadership talk in collaboration with Lytx, focusing on the use of video cameras, data, and AI in fleet management. This presentation promises to provide valuable insights into how businesses can leverage these technologies to improve safety and efficiency in their operations.

Geotab's new safety benchmark, developed using data from over 3.7 million subscriptions, aims to set a new standard for objective comparison of safety performances among businesses in the industry. By analysing aggregated data, Geotab is creating a benchmark that allows businesses to evaluate their own safety performance against others in the industry.

The integrated predictive safety capabilities are directly incorporated into Geotab's platform, the Geotab Data Connector (GDC). With AI technology now a part of the GDC, the tool is designed to forecast the probability of collisions for commercial fleets, thereby helping to reduce collisions and save lives.

In 2022, commercial vehicles using Geotab's data insights drove an average of 17% more miles before a collision compared to 2021, demonstrating the effectiveness of these predictive safety measures.

The Fleet LatAm Conference 2023 is not just a platform for Geotab's presentation. Bryan Onze, the General Manager for Latin America at Lytx, will also be delivering a Thought Leadership talk at the event. Together, Geotab and Lytx will share their expertise and insights, offering attendees a unique opportunity to learn and network.

Attendees at the Fleet LatAm Conference 2023 will undoubtedly gain valuable insights into the use of video cameras, data, and AI in fleet management. Geotab's new safety benchmark and predictive safety capabilities, along with Lytx's expertise, promise to deliver a thought-provoking and informative event. Don't miss out on this opportunity to learn and network with industry leaders!
