In recent days, a video has been making the rounds on social media, purporting to show a cow riding a scooter down an Indian street. However, this claim is false, and the video is not a depiction of a real-life event.

The video has been flagged as 95.5% AI-generated by Hive AI, a detection tool that analyses the authenticity of videos. This indicates that the video was not filmed on location but was instead created using AI technology.

The video bears several inconsistencies that further support its AI-generated nature. For instance, the script on number plates and shop name boards is unrecognisable and meaningless, which is unusual for footage captured in public places. Additionally, there are noticeable color changes on the cow's body as it steps onto the scooter and afterwards, a detail that is unlikely to be present in real-life footage.

It's worth noting that there was a similar viral video from Rishikesh in May, which showed a cow moving a scooter due to its weight. However, this current video is unrelated. The previously viral video from Rishikesh is not connected to the currently viral video, and neither is it related to a similar incident from Rishikesh that went viral earlier.

Moreover, no source of the currently viral video could be traced, adding to the suspicion that it is AI-generated.

The AI-generated video was created using various tools such as Google Vids with Gemini AI technology, OpenAI's Sora model, Synthesia, or Vidnoz AI Video Generator. These platforms use AI to generate, edit, and produce videos from text prompts, images, or videos.

In conclusion, the video circulating on social media, showing a cow riding a scooter down an Indian street, is false and AI-generated. It's essential to verify the authenticity of such content before sharing it, especially in the digital age where misinformation can spread quickly.
