=====================================================

In an incident that took place on August 28, 2025, a 33-year-old resident of Bad Salzuflen was apprehended in Bielefeld, Germany, for a series of alleged offences.

The suspect was initially caught by a resident and a friend on Orionstraße. The individual was found removing the side indicator of a BMW on Wegastraße, where the theft occurred.

The police investigation revealed that the suspect does not possess a valid driver's license. Furthermore, a blood test was ordered to check if the suspect had consumed intoxicating substances.

As the investigation progressed, the police dog handler found two pairs of gloves and both missing side indicators of the BMW in a hedge along the escape route. The suspect's car key was discovered in his pocket, suggesting he had driven the car himself.

The second side light of the stolen BMW was found on Wegastraße on the day of the arrest. The officers took the suspect into custody to prevent further crimes.

A troubling discovery was made during the search of the suspect's car. A clear bag containing a white powder, potentially cocaine, was found inside. The 33-year-old suspect is now facing charges of driving without a license, driving under the influence of drugs, and theft.

The suspect initially denied the crime, claiming he was just taking a walk. However, the evidence against him appears to be substantial. The incident serves as a reminder of the importance of responsible car ownership and the consequences of driving without a license or under the influence of drugs.
