Apple launches News+ Food, a new service integrating news and food related content.
Apple has announced the launch of a new service called News+ Food, set to debut with iOS 18.4 and iPadOS 18.4 in April. This exciting offering will join Apple News+, providing users with access to a vast array of content, including stories about food, restaurants, healthy eating, kitchen essentials, and more.
The service will feature content from top food publishers, such as Allrecipes, Bon Appétit, Food & Wine, Good Food, and Serious Eats, as well as renowned publications like The Wall Street Journal, New York Magazine, PEOPLE, The Athletic, and Rolling Stone.
For those who are not Apple News+ subscribers, select stories and recipes will be available without a subscription. However, subscribers will have exclusive access to the full range of content that News+ Food has to offer.
One of the standout features of News+ Food is its beautifully designed recipe format. Users can easily review ingredients and instructions, and a new cook mode takes step-by-step instructions to the full screen for a seamless cooking experience. Users can also save their favourite recipes for later and access them offline.
The service boasts tens of thousands of recipes, with new additions being made to the Recipe Catalog every day. Users can browse, search, and filter recipes to find exactly what they're looking for. Additionally, users can find curated stories by Apple News editors within News+ Food.
A subscription to Apple News+, which costs $12.99 per month in the U.S., £12.99 in the UK, $16.99 in Canada, and $19.99 in Australia, includes access to hundreds of top publications. This means that with a single subscription, users can access quality journalism from a wide variety of top publications.
For press-related inquiries, users can contact the Apple Media Helpline at media.help@our website. The Apple Media Helpline is available to assist with any questions or concerns.
Starting from April 2025, the renowned food publications participating in Apple News+ Food will include Food & Wine, Simply Recipes, EatingWell, and New York Times Cooking.
Images are available within the articles, but at this time, there is no option to download all images. However, the user-friendly interface and wealth of content make News+ Food an exciting addition to the Apple News+ service.
