Apple broadens its suite of business resources, aiming to facilitate connections between businesses and a vast user base of over one billion individuals.

Apple has announced an expansion of its Apple Business Connect tools, aiming to help businesses worldwide build trust and connect better with their customers. The updated tools are now accessible to businesses of all sizes and offer a range of customisable features.

One of the key additions is the Branded Mail feature, which is now available for sign-up. This feature allows businesses to display their name and logo in emails sent to customers, with logos appearing in customers' inboxes later this year.

Another significant update is the introduction of Tap to Pay on iPhone. Businesses can now customise their logo when accepting payments via this feature. This enhancement provides a personalised touch to the payment process, fostering a stronger connection between businesses and their customers.

For larger businesses managing multiple locations, integration with listing management agencies like DAC Group, Rio SEO, SOCi, Uberall, and Yext is available. This integration streamlines the management of multiple locations, making it easier for businesses to maintain a consistent brand identity across Apple's platforms.

The upcoming Business Caller ID feature is another exciting development. This feature will allow businesses to display their name, logo, and department on a customer's inbound call screen. The Business Caller ID is set to launch next year.

The updates are particularly beneficial for virtual, online, and service-based businesses. They enable these businesses to create a consistent brand identity across Apple's platforms, fostering a more cohesive and professional image.

Businesses without a physical location can also manage their brand presence across Apple's ecosystem. After registering for Business Connect, businesses can customise their appearance in apps like Apple Maps, Wallet, and Mail, and add photos, logos, and action links to their location place cards.

Apple Business Connect provides access to over 1 billion Apple users, offering a vast potential audience for businesses. The registration process for Apple Business Connect can be initiated via the self-service website from any mobile device or computer, making it convenient for businesses to get started.

Businesses can register for Apple Business Connect using their existing Apple Account or by creating a new one. David Dorn, Apple's senior director of Internet Software and Services Product, made a statement about the updates, emphasising the importance of these tools for local business visibility on Apple Maps, used by millions of iPhone users daily.

Businesses can also promote special offers through Showcases on Apple Business Connect, providing an additional way to engage with customers and drive sales. With these updates, Apple continues to demonstrate its commitment to supporting businesses and helping them connect with their customers effectively.
