Anticipates Arrival at Helgoland - Anticipation Rises for Upcoming Helgoland in the South

In a charming coastal setting, Bavaria's leader, Markus Söder, is set to visit the unique island of Helgoland on Tuesday. The visit, which was prompted by a humorous remark made at an event in February, has been eagerly anticipated by the community and the ferry company FRS Helgoline.

Markus Söder's journey to Helgoland will commence from Hamburg, where he will board the catamaran named "Halunder Jet". He is scheduled to stay until Wednesday, relishing the opportunity to explore this breathtaking island.

Helgoland, Germany's sole high-sea island, has captured Söder's heart. In his own words, he has called it one of the most beautiful places. His first visit, which took place earlier, left an indelible impression on him.

The invitation for this visit came from the mayor of Helgoland, Thorsten Pollmann, and the tourism director, Katharina Schlicht. The friendly gesture was a response to Söder's humorous remark about Helgoland being "Bavarian" due to financial support from Bavaria.

Schleswig-Holstein's Minister President, Daniel Günther, has expressed his enthusiasm for the island, stating that he finds the state beautiful, particularly its islands. However, Günther has not confirmed a meeting between the two heads of government during Söder's visit.

During his stay, Söder is expected to have a conversation with Pollmann and Schlicht on Tuesday. The topics of discussion are likely to revolve around the island's tourism and the ongoing support from Bavaria.

Söder has also expressed his excitement for some great seafood during his visit. Given Helgoland's reputation for its fresh seafood, it's safe to say that he is in for a treat.

In addition to recommending the Zugspitze, Söder believes that every German should visit Helgoland. His second visit to the island is a testament to his conviction that it is a must-see destination.

Günther has wished Söder a pleasant stay during his visit to Helgoland. As Söder embarks on this journey, he does so with a sense of anticipation, ready to immerse himself in the beauty and charm of this enchanting island.
