Anime teaser for Lost Colony suggests that Ark: Survival Evolved encompasses all elements of the game
Ark: Lost Colony, the highly anticipated expansion pack for the popular game Ark: Survival Ascended, is now available for wishlisting on Steam and is set to release in November 2025.
In this new adventure, Michelle Yeoh reprises her role as Mei Yin from ARK: The Animated Series. She will be joined by Madeleine Madden as Helena Walker and Auli'i Cravalho as Meeka.
Ark: Lost Colony takes place in a frozen world where Mei Yin is on a mission to uncover secrets about Ark's past. The game features an original storyline that connects the storylines of Ark's Extinction and Genesis expansions and leads into the events of Ark 2.
The game includes various elements such as dinosaurs, dragons, aliens, robots, fierce horned demons, and the voice of Michelle Yeoh.
The teaser for Ark: Lost Colony was revealed at the Game Developers Conference (GDC) 2025, featuring anime-style story sequences reminiscent of Saturday morning cartoons.
Japanese Studio MAPPA, known for Jujutsu Kaisen, Attack on Titan, and Chainsaw Man, is responsible for the animation work in Ark: Lost Colony.
Ark: Lost Colony will be priced at $29.99 for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC. Pre-orders for the game will start in June 2025, with a full release following in November.
