Alternative Title: Alternate Strategy for Warm Juddmonte Candidate Adopted as Solario Drops Out, Enters into Stakes Competitions at Haydock Park

In a change of plans, the Kingman colt, Publish, trained by John and Thady Gosden, will take his chance in the Listed Ascendant Stakes at Haydock. Originally slated for the Solario Stakes at Sandown, the decision to reroute Publish was made due to the soft ground conditions at Sandown.

Publish, a Juddmonte's exciting prospect, caught the eye on his debut at Sandown, finishing second. He made no mistake in his second race at the same venue, further cementing his potential. The horse, now scheduled to race at Haydock, presents a belated opportunity for him to enhance his reputation.

While Publish is set to go off favourite again, he is unlikely to be as short as he was a week ago. The Listed Ascendant Stakes field includes the Karl Burke-trained Shayem and Glacius, trained by Hugo Palmer, who are both once-raced winners.

Among the contenders, Midnight Tango has built up more experience than the market leaders, with this being her sixth start. She's had a Listed second followed by two fourths in Group 3 company at Ascot and Newmarket. This will be her first opportunity to race against the boys.

The presence of Sheikh Mohammed Obaid's once-raced horse, Bow Echo, is a factor after his impressive winning debut at Newbury last month. He's Waliim, who finished last of six in the Solario that Publish missed, is set for a quick turnaround.

The Listed Ascendant Stakes will be held on good ground, providing a favourable condition for the horses. With a strong field and competitive odds, the Listed Ascendant Stakes promises to be an exciting race.
