Alternative for automobiles
In the quiet town of Mechernich, Germany, an unsettling incident has taken place. The Criminal Police have launched an investigation into a case of property damage and attempted theft that occurred at a local car dealership on Feytalstraße.
Between the evening of August 19th and the early hours of August 20th, unknown individuals wreaked havoc on the premises, vandalizing two cars. The exact number of individuals involved in this act of destruction remains a mystery.
The affected vehicles were a customer's car and a currently unregistered vintage car. The vintage car, which was not registered at the time of the incident, was the apparent target of the vandals. The wiring harnesses under the steering column of the vintage car were torn out, and after the vandalism, the security cover of the vehicle was found open.
It is believed that the unknown individuals attempted to steal the vintage car, using a stone to shatter each car window in the process. The extent of the property damage cannot currently be determined beyond what has been mentioned, including the broken car windows, opened security cover, and torn out wiring harnesses.
The police are urgently seeking any information that could lead to the identification of the perpetrators. As the investigation continues, the community hopes for a swift resolution to this disturbing incident.
