Altenritte's Cuckoo Festival set for August 23rd and 24th in 2025.

The festival, scheduled for two days, August 23 and 24, 2025, promises a delightful mix of traditional music, regional delicacies, and a diverse entertainment program. Highlights include music bands GSV Eintracht and KSV-our city, a goulash cannon event, a large children's bazaar, a duck race, and a traditional cuckoo baptism.

On August 23, the official opening with the mayor will take place at 16:30, followed by a tree trunk pulling event and DJ Tobbi creating an atmospheric evening. The event ends at 01:00. On August 24, a festival church service takes place at 10:30, with coffee, cake, and fresh waffles available at the same time. The music band KSV-our city plays at 11:30, a goulash cannon event is at 12:00, a large children's bazaar is also at 12:00, a duck race takes place at 15:00, a social gathering with music is at 18:00, and the event ends at 24:00.
