Alliance Between AIP and BeYoke for Aviation Investment Collaboration

AIP Capital, a leading player in aviation investment, has formed a strategic partnership with BeYoke Capital. This collaboration is set to create new investment opportunities for Japanese investors and position AIP to expand its footprint across the Asia-Pacific region.

The partnership with BeYoke is a strategic move for AIP to strengthen its presence in the Asia-Pacific aviation investment market. It combines Western investment management expertise with Japanese market access and regulatory compliance, providing a unique advantage in the region.

AIP will join BeYoke's board of directors and has taken a minority stake in the company. This collaboration gives AIP direct access to Japan's regulated aviation leasing market, a significant step towards expanding its operations in the region.

The partnership will utilise Japanese Operating Lease (JOL), Japanese Operating Lease with Call Option (JOLCO) structures, and secured loan products. KPMG provided tax structuring guidance for the transaction, while Morgan Lewis offered legal advice to AIP Capital.

The focus of the partnership will be on aircraft and engine investment initiatives, reflecting the increasing demand for structured aircraft and engine investment opportunities in Asia. This demand is driven by the region's expanding aviation sector.

The partnership highlights the growing trend in cross-border aviation finance and is expected to increase access to aviation investment opportunities for Japanese investors. It is also anticipated to enhance the range and scale of investment products AIP can offer to institutional and private investors in the region.

The partnership positions AIP to expand its footprint across the Asia-Pacific region and is a testament to the company's commitment to providing innovative financing solutions in the aviation sector. The partnership with BeYoke Capital is expected to be a significant catalyst for growth in the region.
