In an unexpected turn of events, a suspected illegal street race took place on Thursday evening at around 7:30 PM on "Am Steinberg" street in Leverkusen-Steinbüchel. Two sports cars were involved, one of which was a blue Audi S5 Sportback, boasting 360 horsepower.

Witnesses reported seeing the suspected Audi parked on the street "Köttershof" before the race began. However, during the race, the Audi lost control in a right curve and collided with two roadside posts. Despite the collision, the car did not stop and continued towards "Krummer Weg".

The driver of the Audi is described as approximately 5'11" tall, muscular, with blonde hair, aged around 18-20, and wearing shorts. After the collision, the driver is said to have fled the scene and ran into a nearby wooded area. The identity of the driver has not been disclosed as investigations into the vehicle's owner are ongoing.
