Alessandro Nesta to headline SBC Summit Tbilisi 2025 as keynote speaker

The SBC Summit Tbilisi has announced Alessandro Nesta as its headline speaker for 2025. The legendary Italian defender, known for his World Cup victories and time at AC Milan, will address the event on October 15 and 16. This marks the first time a footballer of his stature will feature as a main speaker at an SBC Summit.

Nesta, a three-time FIFA World Cup winner and three-time UEFA European Championship holder, retired from professional football in 2014. His career included stints at top clubs like AC Milan, where he cemented his reputation as a world-class athlete and later transitioned into coaching.

The SBC Summit Tbilisi, scheduled for October 15-16 at the Sheraton Grand Tbilisi Metechi Palace, will focus on the gambling markets of Eastern Europe and Central Asia. Over 2,000 stakeholders from gaming, tech, sports, and entertainment are expected to attend. During the event, Nesta will deliver a keynote on October 15, followed by a panel discussion the next day. His sessions will explore how lessons from his football career can apply to the gaming industry. Rasmus Sojmark, founder and CEO of SBC, described Nesta as one of the most iconic and influential footballers of the modern era. This year's summit is the first in the series to feature a high-profile football figure as a main speaker, setting it apart from previous editions.

Nesta's participation adds a new dimension to the SBC Summit Tbilisi, blending sports expertise with industry insights. His sessions will offer attendees a unique perspective on leadership and performance, drawn from his decorated football career. The event will also serve as a platform for networking and market analysis in the region's growing gaming sector.
