Did Garcia's girlfriend expose the Bayer transfer?
It has been confirmed: The captain of Spain's shock team, Girona (3rd place in the league), has a 15 million euro buyout clause in his contract until 2026.
Additionally, double-trainer Xabi Alonso (42) met with Garcia on Tuesday and could have certainly talked about a shared future.
Both were recognized at the Global Soccer Awards on the Costa Smeralda in Sardinia. Alonso won the "Coach of the Year" category, while Garcia made it into the official Spanish La Liga team of the season.
