Akış Enerji teams up with Enexus to construct a solar power park in Dambovita County

In the heart of Dambovita County, the city of Titu is set to welcome a new addition to its landscape – the Titu 1 Solar Park. This ambitious project, with an installed capacity of 20 MWp, will be developed in partnership with Akış Enerji, a major player in Turkey's renewable energy sector.

Akış Enerji, part of the Ulusoy Enerji Yatırımları group, brings a strong industrial presence to the table, including copper pipe manufacturing. The company's expertise in the renewable energy sector will undoubtedly contribute to the successful execution of the Titu 1 Project.

The Titu 1 Solar Park will be located on secured land and is currently in its "ready to build" (RTB) phase. The project will be delivered turnkey through EPC (Engineering, Procurement & Construction) services by Enexus, who have also signed a contract for its development.

The estimated completion date for the Titu 1 Solar Park is the end of 2025. Once operational, the solar park is expected to generate between 24.5 and 28 GWh annually, a significant contribution to the national energy grid.

Mesut Güler, CEO of Enexus, expressed his excitement about the collaboration, stating that this partnership with Akış Enerji is a pivotal moment for renewable energy development in the region. He further added that the Titu 1 Project will be an example of fast, reliable, and impactful delivery where Enexus' integrated model directly enhances investment profitability.

The Titu 1 Solar Park will also play a crucial role in increasing the share of renewables in the national energy mix, thereby contributing to the stability of the system. The energy generated by the solar park will be injected into the grid, further supporting the country's commitment to a greener future.

Notably, the Ulusoy Enerji Yatırımları Group has been welcomed to the Enexus investor portfolio. The group, with a diversified portfolio of approximately 200 MW installed across wind turbines, hydropower plants, and solar power stations, brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the table.

All required permits for the Titu 1 Project have been obtained, including construction, environmental, and authorizations from institutions such as Transelectrica, ANRE, and local authorities. With an investor ready to support the construction of the solar park, the Titu 1 Project is one step closer to becoming a reality.

In conclusion, the Titu 1 Solar Park, in partnership with Akış Enerji, represents a significant stride towards a greener future for Romania. The project's clear financing structure, based on a feasible financial plan, and the partnership with a major player in the renewable energy sector, promise a successful and impactful outcome.
