Aircraft collision after a road incident in Bigge, as reported by Polish authorities

On a fateful day, September 4, 2025, a car accident occurred on the main street towards Nuttlar, involving a 38-year-old woman.

According to reports, the woman was driving along this route with the intention of turning right into 'Am Kirchplatz' to park on the nearby parking lot. However, a car exiting from 'Am Kirchplatz' caused her to brake suddenly, leading to a collision from the car behind her.

As a result of the impact, the woman sustained minor injuries. The driver who hit her, identified as a 31-year-old man from Bestwig, left the scene without checking for damages. The man was later identified through witness statements and his driver's license was seized.

The Hochsauerlandkreis Police Headquarters, located in Brilon, is investigating the incident. Benedikt Teutenberg, the contact person at the headquarters, can be reached at [email protected] or by phone at 0291-9020-1140.

It is important to note that the 31-year-old man from Bestwig who was involved in the accident has not been publicly identified.

Our thoughts are with the injured woman during this difficult time. We encourage all drivers to exercise caution and responsibility on the roads to prevent such incidents from happening.
