In the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), the State Committee for Transport Services is taking steps to ensure passenger transportation during the shoulder season. This year, water transport will be used along the route from Yakutsk to Lower Bestyakh.

During this challenging season, transportation will be organized using hovercraft and aerobots. Helicopters of AO AK "Polar Airlines" will also be involved in the route from Magan Airport to Mannyatakh (Lower Bestyakh) during ice drift.

Given the extreme conditions, it is strongly advised to plan trips only when absolutely necessary during the shoulder season. Until the start of navigation, approximately 48 hovercraft and aerobots will be deployed on the Yakutsk - Lower Bestyakh route.

Currently, the main ice crossings on the Lena River are closed, with the exception of the crossing in the direction of Khatasy - Pavlovsk. All types of motor vehicles are prohibited on these closed ice crossings.

When intense ice drift occurs, passenger transportation will be carried out with a transfer to aerobots on the route from Yakutsk to Lower Bestyakh. The hovercraft stations are located in the territory of the 204th microdistrict (station "Namyv") in Yakutsk, and in Lower Bestyakh, the waiting point is at AO "Yakutia Railways".

Thirty "Hivus-10" hovercraft, eight "Typhoon" aerobots, and three "Neptun-23" vessels will be deployed on the Yakutsk - Lower Bestyakh route. For the latest information on passenger transportation during the shoulder season, residents and visitors are encouraged to check the information platforms of the Ministry of Transport of Yakutia.
