The driver, a 47-year-old individual, entered the construction zone at an inappropriate, high speed. As a result, the truck overturned, causing extensive damage estimated to be up to 200,000 euros. The driver was lightly injured and was successfully freed from his cab by first responders.
The accident has resulted in a complete closure of the highway in the direction of Singen. Numerous emergency services personnel, including firefighters, THW members, and highway maintenance personnel, are on site due to spilled fuel and recovery efforts.
