AI Lab for Women advances to the next stage
The City of Wiesbaden is set to host the FemAILab event at the Zukunftswerk Wiesbaden, located at Luisenforum, Kirchgasse 6, 2nd floor, near the bridge. This event, a joint cooperation between the Smart City, Europe, and Order Department and BerufsWege für Frauen e. V., aims to create a space where women can deliberately engage with the topic of Artificial Intelligence (AI).
Karin Siepmann, Digital and Europe Advisor at BerufsWege für Frauen e. V., will be a key figure at the event. Maral Koohestanian, described as a "visionary hopeful and a controversial voice for reform," is also involved, but specific details about her connection to the FemAILab or her function within the organisation are currently unavailable.
The FemAILab event is designed as an open learning lab and a "Community of Practice." It takes place in an environment exclusively for women, fostering a lively learning ecosystem. Participants are encouraged to bring their own learning wishes and receive brief introductions to the most important topics around AI.
Registration for the event can be made via www.berufswege-fuer-frauen.de/portfolio/workshop-femaillab each Friday by 12:00 PM before the event. Participation is free, and it is requested to bring a personal device, such as a laptop, tablet, or smartphone, to the FemAILab event.
