Afternoon training session in Naples focuses on individual drills for Albiol and Chiriches
Napoli Resume Training Ahead of Napoli-Roma Clash
After the international break, Napoli returned to training today at Castelvolturno, preparing for their upcoming Serie A match against Roma on Saturday, October 15. The match will take place at the San Paolo stadium.
Gennaro Gattuso, the current coach of Napoli, led the training sessions. The focus of the preparatory phase was on activation, as the team geared up for the upcoming challenge.
During the training session, the team played a series of small-sided games 8 vs 8, providing an opportunity for players to sharpen their skills and tactics. The session also included some youth team players, offering a chance for the younger talent to learn from the experienced first team.
However, the absence of 14 players called up for their respective national teams was felt during the training. To compensate, Chiriches and Albiol participated in a differentiated workout, alternating between field and gym work to ensure they remain in top shape.
The team is scheduled for a double training session the next day, further intensifying their preparations for the upcoming match. The eighth Serie A round match will be a crucial one, as Napoli aims to secure a win against Roma.
The kickoff for the match is set at 3 pm, and fans are eagerly awaiting the intense encounter between these two formidable teams. Stay tuned for more updates on Napoli's preparations and the upcoming match.
