Advertisement Placements Across the Entire Website (Including In-Stream Ads)

In preparation for the highly anticipated IdeenExpo 2026 in Hannover, a cross-media advertising strategy is underway. The marketing and creative agency responsible for the banner advertising portion of this campaign is yet to be officially named, as the procurement process is ongoing through a public tender with application submissions open until October 7, 2025.

The banner ads, a crucial part of the campaign, will be displayed within the content block in a 300x250 Rotation format. Simultaneously, a 300x250 reskin message box will also be shown above the content box. To ensure smooth delivery and to avoid any issues with text or pictures being cut off, it is recommended to avoid background images that include text or pictures.

Each reskin pair uses one URL only, and it is essential that the URL(s) for each banner be sent well in advance, with banners due 3 business days before the launch. The maximum file size for each banner is 900kb.

Interestingly, the reskin graphics display simultaneously but operate independently. The branded background, serving as the wallpaper with logos, will be shown on desktop devices. However, it's worth noting that the background does not display on some mobile devices.

For ease of tracking and reporting, individual ad performance is meticulously monitored in our reporting dashboards. Additionally, the campaign includes banner ads and other media, all designed to cater to various target groups and developed before the event takes place from June 20–28, 2026.

Lastly, we allow impression click trackers as part of our advertising policy. The banners will be displayed below the content block, with a 728x90 size for desktop sticky footer and a 300x50 size for mobile sticky footer. The background scales to fit the device width, ensuring a seamless user experience across all devices.
