Adoptable Pets at OCHS: Mikey and Hennessy, Bonded Brothers and Friends

Two Playful Kittens Seeking a Forever Home

In the heart of Oswego, two adorable kittens named Hennessy and Mikey are waiting for their chance at a loving family. The duo, who are bonded littermates, would make a great addition to any family, including those with children of all ages.

Hennessy, a silver tabby with white male markings, is a playful kitten who enjoys climbing high shelves to show off his good looks. On the other hand, Mikey, an all-black male kitten, is timid but has a soft spot for toys and other cats. The pair often engage in friendly boxing matches with each other.

Both kittens, approximately 14 weeks old, have been vaccinated and will be neutered when they are older. They are currently residing at the Oswego County Humane Society, located at 29 W. Seneca St., Oswego.

The Oswego County Humane Society is a charitable organization designated under IRS code 501(c)3 and registered with the New York State Charities. The society offers various services, including foster-to-adoption programs, spay/neuter clinics, and humane education.

Interested adopters can download the Adoption Application from tinyurl.com/oswego-humane-app. It is recommended to introduce Hennessy and Mikey to a new home gradually, starting with an isolated room.

For those who may not be ready for a long-term commitment, the Oswego County Humane Society also offers the option of temporary foster caregiving, and they would cover all the related expenses.

The adoption fee for Hennessy and Mikey is $250 for the pair. The society's mission is to ensure the welfare of all animals in their care, and your support through adoption helps them continue their vital work.

Hennessy and Mikey are not yet familiar with canine friends, so potential adopters with dogs should consider introducing them carefully. Despite their timid nature, these kittens are littermates and prefer to be adopted together.

If you are looking for a pair of playful, loving kittens to join your family, consider giving Hennessy and Mikey a chance. They are waiting for their forever home, and they could be waiting for you.
