Adolescent driver plows into a field attempting to evade law enforcement officers.

A 17-year-old, allegedly under the influence of drugs, and without a valid driver's license, crashed his vehicle in a field as he tried to evade the police in Leonberg (Böblingen district). The incident occurred late on Friday night, according to authorities who made the announcement on Saturday.

The Böblingen district is experiencing a labor shortage. - Adolescent driver plows into a field attempting to evade law enforcement officers.

When the cops turned on their blue lights, the 17-year-old sped off in a hurry. During his getaway, he zigzagged in a turning lane, went against the direction of the road, and even crossed over a pedestrian island. Not to mention, he put another driver in danger as he took a sharp turn. Police reports suggest that the teenager eventually ended up on a rural road. He went full speed down this lane and crashed his car into a field, finally stopping.

The damage to the vehicle amounted to around 15,000 euros. A preliminary drug test showed traces of cannabis, shared a police lady. She added that the youth will now face charges such as engaging in illegal street racing, driving without a license, driving under the influence of drugs, and endangering road traffic.
