Administrative Traineeship Offered by Hohe Rhön Community

The Administrative Community "Hohe Rhön" is offering a three-year traineeship in administration starting on August 1, 2026. The traineeship is open to individuals with a good to very good intermediate school leaving certificate or Abitur, who have a strong interest in legal topics and working with people.

The traineeship offers a unique opportunity to gain practical experience in the administrative field while earning a company pension scheme and yearly bonus. The remuneration for the traineeship is according to the tariff (TVAöD), with Year 1 earning 1,293.26 €, Year 2 earning 1,343.20 €, and Year 3 earning 1,389.02 €.

Applicants are required to have good knowledge in German, math, economics, and legal subjects. An enjoyment in supporting the administration "behind the scenes" is also desired. Team spirit, motivation, and the desire to learn new things are essential qualities for this traineeship.

During the traineeship, theoretical training phases will take place at the vocational school in Meiningen and the Thuringian Administration School in Weimar. The traineeship will be at the locations of Kaltensundheim and Kaltennordheim.

The traineeship offers 30 days of vacation, and there are good prospects of being taken on after the completion of the traineeship. It is worth noting that the municipalities belonging to the Verwaltungsgemeinschaft "Hohe Rhön" include Birx, Erbenhausen, and Frankenheim.
