Adelaide nurse wins $1.28M in Saturday Lotto but keeps her job

An Adelaide nurse has become a millionaire after winning over $1.28 million in the latest Saturday Lotto draw. The lucky winner, who chose 36 different number combinations, said she would keep working in healthcare despite her sudden windfall.

A second winner, a Sydneysider, also took home the same prize after purchasing a ticket with 14 number combinations from a local newsagency.

The Adelaide nurse secured her life-changing win by buying a ticket through The Lott app. Her entry included 36 unique number sets, one of which matched all the winning numbers in the draw. Despite the substantial payout, she has no plans to leave her nursing job.

Meanwhile, in Sydney, another player claimed the same top prize of $1,286,587.92. This winner had purchased their ticket from Hawthorne Newsagency in Willoughby, selecting 14 different number combinations. Unlike the Adelaide winner, the Sydneysider revealed intentions to use the money for a new home.

Both winners now face decisions about how to manage their newfound wealth. The Adelaide nurse's commitment to her profession stands in contrast to the Sydneysider's focus on property investment.

The two winners will each receive $1,286,587.92 from the Saturday Lotto draw. The Adelaide nurse's decision to remain in her job highlights her dedication to healthcare. The Sydneysider, on the other hand, plans to use the funds for a house purchase.
