Ad ecco appoints Christian Vasino as their new Head of Human Resources
In a significant move, the world's largest Human Resource (HR) solutions provider, headquartered in Glattbrugg, Switzerland, has announced that Christian Vasino will take over as its Chief HR Officer, effective from April 2007.
The news was made public on March 9, 2007. Dieter Scheiff, CEO of the company, expressed gratitude towards Thomas Flatt for his contributions in building the business line Medical & Science and overseeing global HR during challenging times of transition. Flatt will be leaving the company as of March 31, 2007, to pursue new challenges outside the firm.
Christian Vasino, a 34-year-old lawyer, brings a wealth of experience to his new role. He has been involved in HR management since 1998, holding leading positions in various organisations. Prior to joining the company, Vasino worked as HR Director in Italy and later became Vice President Group Human Resources.

Vasino will join the Executive Committee of the company's group, becoming a crucial part of the multinational team that manages the organisation. The group's headquarters is located in Switzerland, with operations spanning across the globe.
Thomas Flatt's tenure as the Chief HR Officer and Head of the Global Business Line Medical & Science saw numerous achievements. He successfully reorganised the HR department and set up the new global business line Medical & Science.
