Raymond Cruz, Known for "Breaking Bad," Faces Misdemeanour Battery Charge in Los Angeles

Actor Raymond Cruz, famed for his roles in "Breaking Bad" and "The Closer," found himself in legal trouble recently. According to reports by US portal TMZ, the 60-year-old actor was arrested in Los Angeles on suspicion of misdemeanour battery.

The incident occurred while Cruz was washing his car in front of his house. A woman, who is the daughter of a person who called the police, was accused of not complying when Cruz asked her to move out of the way. As a result, she was sprayed with water from a garden hose.

Cruz reprised his role as Tuco Salamanca in the prequel "Better Call Saul." He is also known for playing detective Julio Sanchez in "The Closer" from 2005 to 2012 and in the spin-off "Major Crimes."

According to Cruz's agent Raphael Berko, a minivan with three women parked "half an inch" away from Cruz's bumper before the incident. The women who were filming Cruz had their car splashed with water.

The woman in question believes Cruz intentionally sprayed her. However, Cruz's court date is scheduled for October 1, and the court case will determine the truth of the matter.
