Charlie Sheen is set to release his memoir, "The Book of Sheen," on September 9, and the Netflix documentary series, "aka Charlie Sheen," will begin streaming on September 10. These are part of Sheen's current press tour, where he discusses his past, including his sexual encounters with men.

In the documentary, Sheen finds it liberating to talk publicly about having sex with men. He mentions that he began these encounters while using crack, but he expresses a nonchalant attitude towards them, stating, "So what?"

Sheen also reveals that he was trying to navigate his life and come to terms with his past sexual encounters while off drugs. He uses the phrase "I flipped the menu" to describe these experiences.

While speaking to "Good Morning America," Sheen spoke candidly about his sexual encounters with men, mentioning that they were sometimes weird but also enjoyable. He also credits his former drug dealer, Marco, for helping him wean off narcotics by substituting baking soda. According to Sheen, this substitution was a significant solution to his addiction problem.

However, there is no specific information about who helped Marco in the process of becoming clean. Sheen emphasises that he is not running from his past and will not let it own him. He states that he is discussing his past sexual encounters not to shock or offend, but to help others who may be going through similar experiences.

In the documentary, Sheen shares that there were no negative consequences when he talked about his sexual encounters with men in the documentary. He hopes that by sharing his story, he can help break down stigmas and promote openness about sexuality.

The memoir and Netflix documentary series promise to be a raw and honest look into Sheen's life, providing readers and viewers with a unique insight into the life of a Hollywood star.
