Monday, August 24th

Morning Activities

  • 8 a.m.: Kickstart your day at the Del Ray Farmers' Market at Pat Miller Neighborhood Square.
  • 9 a.m.: Visit the Four Mile Run Farmers' Market at Four Mile Run Park.
  • 10:15 a.m.: Head to Ellen Coolidge Burke Branch Library for a game of Senior Bingo.
  • 10:30 a.m.: Choose from three engaging activities: a World War II Walking Tour of Alexandria at Lee-Fendall House Museum & Garden, Pedals & Pints at Handy Bikes, or VETOGA Weekly Community Yoga (Hatha-Raja) - Level 1 sessions hosted by Adam Shaw at James M. Duncan Jr. Branch Library.
  • 1 p.m.: English Language Learning (ELL) sessions are available at Ellen Coolidge Burke Branch Library.

Afternoon Activities

  • 3 p.m.: Join the fun at Fun Friday at Ellen Coolidge Burke Branch Library.
  • 3 p.m.: Discover the French language at the French Conversation Club at Charles E. Beatley Jr. Central Library.

Evening Activities

  • 6:30 p.m.: Engage in a variety of activities: Joggers & Lagers at Port City Brewing Company, Yoga At The Library - with Human Kind Yoga Collective at James M. Duncan Jr. Branch Library, or Adults and Dragons at the same library branch.
  • 6:30 p.m.: For a more relaxed evening, consider the Board Game Cafe at Charles E. Beatley Jr. Central Library or the Friday Night O'Connell's Run at Daniel O'Connell's Irish Restaurant.
