Acer Divulges Project Digits Supercomputer Equipped with Nvidia's GB10 Superchip, Boasting 128GB of LPDDR5x Memory
The technology world is abuzz with the latest release from Acer – the Acer Veriton GN100 AI Mini Workstation. This compact and high-speed AI system is designed to cater to the needs of dedicated professional AI developers, universities, data scientists, and researchers.
At just 150 x 150 x 50.5mm, the Acer Veriton GN100 fits comfortably on your desk, yet it packs a punch with its impressive features. The system is equipped with Nvidia's GB10 Grace Blackwell Superchip, which offers one petaFLOP of FP4 floating point performance, a significant advantage for dedicated AI work.
The GB10 Superchip in the Acer Veriton GN100 is based on Nvidia's Project Digits mini-supercomputer. This architecture, along with the system's support for NVFP4, a new FP4 standard, provides processing efficiency that approaches BF16, making it ideal for AI workloads.
The Acer Veriton GN100 supports 128GB of system memory, a significant leap from a single RTX 5090. This extra memory allows users to run AI models that would be impossible on a single RTX 5090. The system also boasts up to four 4TB of M.2 NVMe storage, ensuring ample space for your data-intensive projects.
The Acer Veriton GN100 also offers wireless connectivity with Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.1, ensuring seamless integration with your existing setup.
